The future of rural communities depends on environmental stability, and long-term conservation outcomes are impossible without addressing rural economic and social realities.
This convergence is no longer theoretical. Climate variability, land degradation, water stress, and shifting agrarian economies are reshaping rural life across regions. Addressing these challenges requires more than projects or policy prescriptions – it demands systems thinking, evidence-led decision-making, and sustained engagement with communities.
