The United Impacts Foundation (UIF) is the social impact and research initiative of the United Impacts Group, focusing on policy research, public-interest awareness, and community-oriented programmes related to sustainable development and social innovation. The Foundation functions as a knowledge, research, and engagement platform, supporting evidence-based dialogue and informed participation on key development challenges, while also undertaking social service initiatives that raise public awareness and implement programmes in education, rural development, water conservation, and other Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)-aligned areas to contribute to a more sustainable and equitable future.
Objective: “To advance sustainable and equitable societal development by generating evidence-based policy research, fostering public-interest awareness, and implementing community-oriented programmes aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, while enabling informed dialogue, inclusive participation, and collaborative action across key social and environmental challenges.”
Scope of Work
1. Education, Skills & Knowledge Access
Policy-oriented research, public-interest awareness, and community-based programmes focused on education systems, digital literacy, skill development, and equitable access to knowledge, including capacity-building initiatives for underserved communities.
2. Rural Development, Livelihoods & Food Systems
Research, field engagement, and programme implementation related to sustainable agriculture, rural livelihoods, food security, and resilient local economies, supporting evidence-based interventions and community empowerment.
3. Environment, Climate & Sustainability
Policy research, awareness campaigns, and on-ground initiatives addressing environmental protection, climate resilience, water conservation, and sustainable resource management, aligned with national priorities and global sustainability frameworks.
4. Social Equity, Inclusion & Community Resilience
Issue-based research, public-interest education, and implementation of social initiatives focusing on health access, gender equity, disaster preparedness, social inclusion, and the protection of vulnerable and marginalised populations.
5. Policy Dialogue, Governance & Evidence-Based Advocacy
Applied policy research, stakeholder consultations, and knowledge dissemination to support informed governance, inclusive policy dialogue, and evidence-based decision-making on sustainable development, social innovation, and public-interest issues at local, national, and global levels.
At the UIF, research and action are deeply interconnected. We combine rigorous, evidence-based analysis with purposeful on-ground engagement to ensure that knowledge leads to meaningful change. By driving informed dialogue, shaping policy conversations, and translating insights into community-centred initiatives, UIF bridges the gap between ideas and impact. Through this integrated approach, the Foundation contributes to sustainable, inclusive, and forward-looking solutions – where evidence informs action, and action strengthens evidence – for the public good.
